Section 1: Self Managed Clients

The Self Managed login section can be found under this header graphic:

Self Managed hosting clients may login to the ABI Control Panel. A Self Managed client is someone whom has subscribed to a "You Build It!" or a VPS Package from ABI Hosting.

If you are a "You Build It!" customer you subscribe to one of the following packages:
ABI Express $9.95
ABI Business $14.95
ABI E-Commerce $29.95

If you are a VPS customer you subscribe to one of the following packages:
VPS 10
VPS 20
VPS 40

As a "You Build It!" or VPS Self Manged client, you may access your "Control Panel" by selecting this button on the Login Page:

If you do not subscribe to one of the above packages, then you are probably a "Managed Hosting" client, and should review sections 2 and 3 below.

Section 2: Managed Hosting Login for Manged Hosting Clients.

This section is for ABI Hosting Managed Hosting clients and their users. A Managed hosting client is someone that subscribes to one of the packages listed below:

Website Packages:
Standard Shared Servers

Website Packages:
Limited-Shared Servers

Website Packages:
Single User Servers

If you or your Domain Administrator subscribe to one of the packages above, then you are a "Managed Hosting" client. If you are a Domain Administrator or a Normal User, you have access to the following services via the "ABI Login" page.

Webmail:
Webmail Login for All Managed Hosting Clients.
The above button will allow all Managed Hosting client access to the Webmail Application.

User Admin:

Individual Email Account Administration Application.
The User Admin tool is designed for Primary, Technical contacts and anyone with an Email Account. The User Admin tool supports the following functions:

Auto Response: Set an "Out Of Office" message or auto responder for your Mail Box.
Change your current Mail Box Forwards for email forwarding.
Change this user accounts current password.

This tool is designed to allow a "Normal User" to customize their email account.
(If you log into this tool with the postmaster@your_domin_name account you will be editing the postmaster email box. Primary and Technical contacts need to know the password of the account they wish to edit, there is no master password for the User Admin tool. If you are a Primary or Technical contact, and wish to change an email account password. Please refer to the E-Mail Admin heading in section 3 of this document.)

Section 3: Managed Hosting Domain Administration:

The Managed Hosting Domain Administration: section can be found under this header graphic:

This section of the Login Page contains tools that are designed for your domains Primary and Technical Contacts. All of the tools in this section are designed to help Managed Hosting Domain Administrator's service their domain.

E-Mail Admin:

Email Domain Administration.
The Email Admin tool is designed for Primary and Technical Contacts of your domain. This tool allows Domain Administrators to do the following:

View and Overview of all resources currently assigned.
Add and Remove Email Mailbox's.
Change ANY Email Account Password.
Adjust Email Account Quota via the "Edit" link.
Setup Email Aliases.
(To Adjust Email Account forwards, you need to log into the "User Admin" for that account. This is covered in Section 2 above.)
Change the Postmaster Admin Password.
View a log of all changes made via the Admin Interface.

Online Web Site Statistics.
SmarterStats 3 is one of the world's most powerful tools for tracking, analyzing, and reporting information about your website's Internet activity. Resource Usage:
Resource Usage for Non-VPS and non-control panel clients.
The Resource usage tool is a good way to track how the current usage for your site. If you go over on your usage, your site may be audited by ABI Hosting Support. If the overage is significant enough, charges may be assessed to your account.

The Resource usage page allows Domain Admins to track current and average Disk Space Usage, The past months Bandwidth Usage, The current months Bandwidth Usage and the 24 hour total for current Email Disk Space Usage. This is a very useful tool Domain Admins can use to prevent overages and anticipate the needs of your web hosting.
