ABI Hosting employs some adaptive technologies to blacklist hosts in realtime as they display certain characteristics.  This allows us to protect our email servers from abuse as it happens.  Generally these blacklist entries are temporary in nature; email servers are automatically listed and automatically delisted.

One case where such an entry is not temporary is when a remote host attempts to send a message to one or more spamtrap email address.  As there are no valid reasons for a legitimate message to be sent to a spamtrap address, a blacklist entry for this infraction is permanent.  It would require manual intervention to be removed.

To have a server removed from a blacklist, please fill out the form at kb.abihosting.com/blacklist.php.
